Pinellas Park forensic examiner receives national award

Detective Michael Piacenza of the Pinellas Park Police Dept. has been recognized as one of the top 100 forensic examiners in the nation by the United States Secret Service National Computer Forensics Institute (NCFI), an organization that instructs state and local officials in network intrusion response, digital evidence and cybercrime investigations.
Out of 3,800 examiners nationwide, Detective Piacenza ranked 94th.
