Rays to spend spring in Port Charlotte, Dominican Republic
July 26, 2023 - The Tampa Bay Rays announced Tuesday that the team will return to Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte for 2024 Spring Training. The facility suffered significant damage from Hurricane Ian in September 2022. In addition, the Rays will travel to the Dominican Republic for the first time for two exhibition games against the Boston Red Sox in March 2024.
