Rowdies to face defending champs in 2026 home opener
December 11, 2025 - The USL Championship announced home openers for the 2026 season Thursday, and the Tampa Bay Rowdies will face the defending champion Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC when they return to Al Lang Stadium. The match is Saturday, March 21, and the season kicks off March 7 with the Rowdies going on the road to face Birmingham Legion FC. Each club will play 30 matches throughout the 34-week regular season.
