St. Pete City Council members elect new leadership
December 14, 2023 - Per tradition, Vice Chair Deborah Figgs-Sanders will oversee the St. Petersburg City Council in 2024. She nominated Councilmember Copley Gerdes to fill her role. After five votes and some debate, the council elected Gerdes as vice chair.
