St. Pete names new LGBTQ+ liaison
December 2, 2025 - Mayor Ken Welch announced Monday afternoon that attorney, educator and policy leader Nathan Bruemmer will serve as St. Petersburg's new LGBTQ+ liaison. Bruemmer will act as the city's primary point of contact for LGBTQ+ residents, organizations, businesses and allies, and will report directly to Chief of Staff Jordan "Doyle" Walsh. Bruemmer replaces Eri Vaughan and is a former statewide LGBTQ+ consumer advocate for the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services.
