St. Pete ranks among best cities for active lifestyles
January 19, 2026 - Personal finance platform WalletHub has compared the 100 largest U.S. cities across 35 metrics to determine the "best and worst places for an active lifestyle" in 2026. St. Petersburg ranked 38th overall, buoyed by a 24th-place finish in the budget and participation category. Tampa ranked 26th, and Honolulu took the top spot.
