St. Pete ranks among ‘best-run cities in America’
June 17, 2025 - WalletHub compared the operating efficiency of the nation's 148 largest municipalities across 36 metrics, which it then measured against per-capita budgets, to determine the "best-run cities in America." St. Petersburg ranked No. 42 overall and No. 25 for the quality of city services. Tallahassee was the top-ranked Florida city at No. 18. Tampa placed No. 97.
