St. Pete ranks among top cities for soccer fans
September 23, 2025 - Personal finance platform WalletHub recently compared over 300 U.S. cities with at least one college or professional soccer team in five divisions across 52 metrics to determine those with the best fan experience. St. Petersburg ranked No. 7 among midsize cities and No. 43 overall. St. Petersburg placed first in its group for fan engagement, second for team (Tampa Bay Rowdies) performance and ninth for capacity at Al Lang Stadium.
