St. Pete’s Critical System Solutions sells to PE-backed Sciens
July 23, 2019 - Critical System Solutions, a St. Petersburg provider of life safety systems and products, was acquired by Sciens Building Solutions in San Francisco. Financial terms were not disclosed in a news release. Critical System Solutions specializes in the design, installation and maintenance of fire detection, security, access control and sprinkler systems, and services the commercial, retail, industrial, educational, hospitality and healthcare markets. Sciens, which bought two other Florida companies earlier this year, is a platform company of Huron Capital, a private equity firm in Detroit.
