Starting Friday, Florida driver license exams only in English

February 3, 2026 - Starting Friday (Feb. 6), Florida's driver license exams will have to be taken in English, and without an interpreter. The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles said in a news release that all driver's license knowledge and skills examinations will be given exclusively in English - all classifications including oral exams.
