State confirms Moez Limayem as USF president
December 12, 2025 - The Florida Board of Governors approved Moez Limayem's appointment as the University of South Florida's ninth president Friday. Board members, who did not ask Limayem any questions during the brief virtual meeting, also approved his contract, which includes a base salary of $1.25 million. Limayem spent a decade as dean of USF's Muma College of Business before becoming president of the University of North Florida in 2022.
