
Tampa Bay home prices up over 200% since 2000
April 4, 2022 - According to a recent report by real estate brokerage Clever, home prices in the Tampa metro area have increased by 223% over the last 22 years. That represents the eighth largest jump in the country, just above Miami at 220%. San Francisco led the nation with home prices soaring 290% since the turn of the century. Cleveland saw the slowest growth with the value of homes increasing 60% during that period. The national average rose 156%, from $127,215 to $325,677, according to the report.
