Tampa Bay Rays select contractor for proposed stadium
August 17, 2026 - The Tampa Bay Rays selected AECOM Hunt and Turner Construction Company Monday as the contractor team for its proposed Tampa stadium, should the project move forward. The Rays have yet to reach a finalized agreement regarding public funding with the City of Tampa and Hillsborough County. AECOM Hunt previously worked on the Tropicana Field renovation project after Hurricane Milton destroyed the ballpark’s roof in 2024.
