Tampa General partners with healthtech startup

February 4, 2020 - Tampa General Hospital has partnered with Agathos, a San Francisco-based tech company that provides doctors information they need to improve patient outcomes. "Similar to a baseball card where you see the player's performance statistics, Agathos shows our physicians their clinical statistics so they can make the best decisions in patient care, in an intuitive and visually pleasing platform," Scott Arnold, executive vice president and chief information officer at TGH, said in a news release. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Dreamit Ventures, a fund and accelerator in Philadelphia in which Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik is a partner, introduced Agathos to TGH through its healthtech program.
