Tampa healthtech company KeriCure advances in awards competition

March 25, 2020 - KeriCure, a Tampa biotech with skin and wound care products, has won the Phase III portion of the U.S. Army's xTechSearch competition for innovative new products from small businesses that solve Army modernization challenges. KeriCure is now one of ten finalists in the small business competition, which started with more than 300 companies. As part of this competition, KeriCure has now received a total of $145,000 in non-dilutive award money, a news release said. In Phase IV of the competition, KeriCure will conduct a proof-of-concept demonstration  to a panel of Army subject matter experts live at the Association of the United States Army 2020 annual meeting in Washington, D.C. in October.
