Tampa insurance distributor buys companies in Texas, Washington
February 4, 2020 - BRP Group, a Tampa-based independent insurance distribution firm, said its Florida Medicare Options subsidiary has acquired AgencyRM LLC and Vibrant USA Inc. AgencyRM, based in Bulverde, Texas-based, provides technology, sales and marketing support for agents who deal with senior health products. VibrantUSA, based in Vancouver, Washington, is affiliated with AgencyRM and represents more than 30 regional and national insurance companies who serve clients enrolled in Medicare. AgencyRM has annual revenue of about $7 million, while VibrantUSA's annual revenue is about $3.5 million, a news release said. BRP Group (Nasdaq: BRP) has multiple signed letters of intent remaining in its partnership pipeline and continues to build momentum since its initial public offering, said CEO Trevor Baldwin.
