Treasure Island pauses impact fees for four years

August 8, 2025 - Treasure Island city commissioners approved a four-year moratorium on impact fees Tuesday night as the coastal community continues rebuilding from a devastating 2024 hurricane season. Those revenues help fund infrastructure projects to keep pace with new developments. Commissioners expressed concern that increasing impact fees would hinder storm recovery efforts.
