Triad details number of St. Pete layoffs

May 13, 2020 - Ninety-six employees are losing their jobs as Triad shutters its St. Petersburg operations. The digital advertising and marketing firm is being permanently closed due to the combined impact  of the Covid-19 pandemic and ongoing changes in the retail industry, according to media investment company GroupM, which bought Triad in 2016. When GroupM confirmed the shutdown last month, it did not say how many workers would be affected. But in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification dated April 17 and made public today, the company detailed the 96 job titles and positions that would be eliminated in the shutdown. The layoffs began on April 30 and will continue through the end of the year, the WARN said.
