Urban League launches Food Truck Fridays with festival
February 4, 2026 - Pinellas County Urban League will host its first Food Truck Friday event of the year with a special Power of the Dream Festival, as part of the organization's Sankofa Season 2026 and the City of St. Petersburg's Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 45 Days of Excellence celebrations. The event is Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at 333 31st St. N. The free, family-friendly festival will feature food samples, a live DJ, line dancing, children's activities, community resources and a "Food is Medicine" presentation by the Vinoy Resort & Golf Club's executive chef. An adults-only afterparty will follow the event.
