USF police charge three men with hate crimes
November 24, 2025 - The University of South Florida Police Department has filed felony hate crime charges against three men accused of harassing Muslim students during a prayer vigil in a Tampa campus parking garage. A viral video recorded Nov. 18 showed the men, who range in age from 28 to 49, confronting students. USF police identified the third suspect Saturday and said the men have no affiliation with USF.
