WalletHub: What helps and hurts startups in Florida

July 8, 2019 - Florida ranks No. 6 among the 50 states as the best place to start a business, according to a new survey from WalletHub. The Sunshine state has the third highest average growth in the number of small businesses, one of 26 key indicators WalletHub looked at. The overall business environment in Florida is fourth best in the nation, but access to resources such as financing and human capital, as well as business costs including office space, taxes and cost of living, put the state more in the middle of pack.
