Church of Scientology buys four N. Fort Harrison properties
The Church of Scientology Flag Service Organization, Inc. closed May 30 on the purchase of four parcels of land on N. Fort Harrison Avenue in Clearwater for $5.775 million.
The sale included a combination of office and strip-store properties, along with a vacant lot.
20 N. Fort Harrison Avenue is a two-story, 7,716 gross square-foot general office building constructed in 1923. It sits on a 0.09-acre plot of land.
36 N. Fort Harrison Avenue is a one-story, 3,000 gross square foot strip store built in 1925 and situated on 0.07 acres.
42 N. Fort Harrison Avenue is a one-story, 1,200 gross square-foot strip store built in 1946 and sits on a 0.12-acre plot of land.
The vacant lot is 0.12 acres.
The seller and owner of all four properties was Dr. Gilbert Jannelli, an optometrist who owns dozens of commercial and residential properties throughout Clearwater.

5th Avenue retail office building for sale
A retail office property with 2,448 heated square feet, located on the corner of 5th Avenue N. and 16th Street in St. Petersburg, has listed for sale with an asking price of $775,000.
1601 5th Avenue N. is a one-story structure built in 1929 and renovated earlier this year. The 0.10-acre lot provides 12 parking spaces. The property is close to downtown St. Petersburg, and the on-ramp to Interstate I-275 is directly north.
The seller, under the registered name 444-12 LLC, purchased the property in 2002 for $300,000 and is offering seller financing.

Waterfront Clearwater apartment complex lists
A 16-unit apartment building located at 233 Dolphin Point, Clearwater has listed for an unknown price.
Sitting on a 0.59-acre waterfront lot on Mandalay Channel, the two-story structure, built in 1970, offers two one-bedroom, one-bath units, each with 592 square feet, and 14 two-bedroom, two-bath units ranging from 788 to 929 square feet.
All of the ground-floor units have been renovated, including high-quality cabinetry, granite countertops, modern light fixtures and completely remodeled bathrooms. Some units have sliding-glass door balconies with premium waterfront views. The pool was recently resurfaced and windows and doors have been updated as well.
The property also includes six deep-water boat slips, each equipped with power access. The purchaser has the flexibility to sell individual condominiums or boat slips separately.

A triplex property with three separate buildings, located at 3320 and 3312 18th Street N. in the Oakwood Gardens neighborhood of St. Petersburg, has listed for sale for $950,000.
The three structures were all built in 1925 and together provide five bedrooms and three bathrooms across 2,146 square feet of living space. They are situated on a fenced-in 0.18-acre lot.

An eight-bedroom, five-bath home at 2420 Kent Place, Clearwater sold June 9 for $3.055 million – $900,000 below the asking price. The two-story, 9,254 gross square-foot property, built in 2022, sits on a 2.31-acre plot of land in a non-flood zone.
The 4,966 heated square-foot main level features an expansive open floorplan with a living room overlooking the pool, a gourmet kitchen with a 22-foot island, a dining area large enough to hold a table for 12 and an oversized sitting area. Also on this floor is the primary bedroom suite with an ensuite bath and an oversized fitness room with an adjacent bath that could be converted into a second primary bedroom or in-law suite.
