Several Spots Available for Kidpreneurs to Sell Their Products at Shopapalooza Festival

LocalShops1’s holiday extravaganza has a few spots that are available for ambitious and creative young participants who want to be part of the largest Small Business Saturday (and Sunday) event in the nation. More than 350 local makers and small businesses are coming together at St. Petersburg’s Vinoy Park (701 Bayshore Dr NE) on Thanksgiving Weekend for LocalShops1’s Shopapalooza Festival. The 2-day extravaganza celebrates local businesses, local arts, local tastes, local music, and the local vibe that makes Tampa Bay such a special place on Saturday, November 29 and Sunday, November 30 from 10 am to 5 pm.

LocalShops1 is partnering with the Kidpreneur Club for this opportunity. Kidpreneurs from the Tampa Bay area who are interested in applying for their business to be part of Shopapalooza Festival can contact LocalShops1 at https://www.localshops1.com/about/contact.

Elliott Perez who is nine years old is one Kidpreneur that will be back at Shopapalooza. Elliott’s business, Fluff, Puffs and Other Stuff where he makes and sells crafts like pillows and fun artwork.

This family friendly event also features a Kids Zone all day, both days organized by Sensory Studio with activities including:

• Playdough sculpting & slime tables with Sensory Studio
• Art Time: Paint, splatter, brush, and create
• DIY: Make your own ornament
• Games & outdoor obstacles with Pathfinder Outdoor Education
• Retreat/Calming Tent with Explore on the Spectrum
• Dessert trucks + family-friendly vendors
• Pet rescues + kid-centric shopping

Kids Zone Scheduled Activities
• 10-11am: Music Class with Beach Baby Pediatrics
• 10:30 am -Noon: Story Time with Ms. American Queen
• 11am-2pm: Santa Visits and Photo Opportunities
• 2-5pm: Letters to Santa

Admission to Shopapalooza is free and open to the public. “We are so excited to be celebrating 15 years, this year will be our biggest and best yet! It’s a great opportunity for Kidpreneurs and their businesses to be part of Shopapalooza Festival,” says Ester Venouziou, LocalShops1 and Shopapalooza founder.
