Summer Theatre Workshops at The MAR
Who’s excited to get back on stage?
After a year of altered Performing Arts practices, it is exciting to think ahead to LIVE PERFORMANCES again.
This summer The MAR St Pete in the Grand Central District, is offering a variety of workshops that create a safe space for learning and practicing material for teens and adults. Workshops give participants the chance to try new material and dust-off the old faithful in front of a live audience, while refining their craft with the help of Musical Theatre professionals Heather Hamar and Stacie Steinke.
Wine WoMen & Song offers adult actors and singers the opportunity to practice scenes and songs and prepare them for performance or audition. Toss in your beverage of choice and Wine WoMen & Song gives 90 minutes of singing, acting and fun in a relaxed setting. Space in sessions is VERY limited and can be reserved through Eventbrite. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/157057371827
Master Class Fest is a 3-session mini-course for the high-school aged theatre student (junkie) to help them select and prepare monologue and vocal material for audition and performance in theater and school productions. Each 90-minute session is unique and builds to a performance for invited guests. Space in sessions is VERY limited and can be reserved through Eventbrite.
