Developer tops out new condo building, prepares for its sister project
NJR Construction Group, a local developer, has topped out its condo building in downtown St. Pete and is working on a new sister project within the same block.
Five months ago, NJR filed a notice of commencement for Domus Urbana, a 40-unit, mid-rise building at 644 3rd Ave. S.
“We’re proud to be able to share the news that we’ve already topped out on this project,” NJR Companies CEO and President Neil Rauenhorst said in a news release. “We’ve worked hard to stick to this aggressive schedule, and we’re excited to be able to welcome residents home later this year.”
All of the condo units are completely sold out. The units feature two and three bedrooms ranging from 1,158 to 1,650 square feet, with prices starting in the mid-$300,000s. A virtual tour of the units shows stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, hardwood floors and balconies.
The amenities at Domus Urbana include a health and fitness center, a dog park and washing station, an outdoor patio and an indoor community room.
Following Domus Urbana’s sold-out success, the developer is working on its sister project, Castille Urbana. Castille Urbana will be just 150 feet to the east of Domus Urbana at 600 3rd Ave. S.
Castille Urbana will be a five-story condominium building. It will have gated parking on the first level and 40 luxury units from the second to the fifth level. The residences are a mix of two- and three-bedroom floor plans ranging in the same square footage as Domus Urbana’s units.
The Castille Urbana property is expected to break ground this year and will look almost identical to Domus Urbana. However, pricing for Castille Urbana starts from the mid-$500,000s.
The firm developing both properties was the same group behind the Regent Lane Townhomes at 131-145 4th Ave. N. in downtown St. Petersburg.
