Did you know that the African American infant mortality rate is 2.3 times higher than that of white infants? This Infant Mortality Awareness Month, the African American Heritage Association, in conjunction with the Black Health Equity Alliance will lead an important conversation on this community issue.

We'll hear about the origins of the disparities in the infant mortality rate, why the issue still persists today, and what solutions are present to ensure the lives of Black infants.
