Girl Scouts Names Local $5,000 College Scholarship Winner

One of our Gold Award Girl Scouts, Emily Conner, was just awarded a $5,000 Girl Scouts USA Scholarship for her Gold Award Project entitled, “Astraea Zine Project.” Astraea Zine is a magazine in which photography, art and writing are published both digitally and in print to amplify the voices of girls who would not otherwise have the resources or ability to express and share their experiences.
