Rays will play 2025 season in Tampa
November 14, 2024 - Stuart Sternberg, principal owner of the Tampa Bay Rays, announced Thursday that the team will play 2025 home games at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa. He told the Associated Press that it was the least difficult area minor league stadium to improve "up to major league standards." Steinbrenner Field is home to the Tampa Tarpons, a minor-league affiliate of the New York Yankees.
