Meet SailFuture: SVP Tampa Bay Fast Pitch

Over the coming weeks, the Catalyst will be introducing each of the organizations competing in the 2018 Social Venture Partner’s Fast Pitch. This two-month program brings the best and brightest of Tampa Bay’s nonprofit world together for a training and mentoring program that culminates in a pitch night.

Introducing SailFuture. 

SailFuture is an innovative program that takes troubled teenage boys out of the cycle of crime, poverty, and behavioral problems and into the water. Using sailing to teach, build trust, and change futures, SailFuture is constantly doing more. What started in 2013 as an after school mentorship program evolved into a long-term housing facility, a Pinellas County Schools accredited high school, behavioral intervention system, and so much more.  SailFuture transforms the lives of teenage boys in the child welfare system.
