Ten employees from the Tampa Bay area Hooters locations and corporate office helped the Seville Family paint the outside of their new home on February 28. This is the ninth home the Original Hooters is sponsoring and volunteering at in conjunction with Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside. The team at Hooters has already completed 200 volunteer hours from framing and painting and will be assisting with additional tasks during this year’s Habitat Build during the month of March.

Autumn Seville has three children. When Autumn found out she was approved to become a homeowner through the Habitat for Humanity program, she felt so grateful to be able to create a space full of lasting memories. She imagined a future of stability, setting the foundation for her family to begin their journey. “Financially, it offers a more predictable living situation, allowing us to invest in other aspects of our lives. My house will be a haven of warmth and togetherness, a place where laughter echoes through the rooms, and where our shared dreams find a home,” said homeowner Autumn Seville.

“Affordable housing is a major challenge many families in our community are facing. We are very thankful to be able to assist local families including the Seville Family with a place to call home. Every year, our team at the Original Hooters looks forward to volunteering and we are honored to be sponsoring our ninth Habitat for Humanity Home in our community,” said Denise Williams, Chief Marketing Officer of HMC Hospitality Group.

HMC Hospitality Group has also sponsored previous homes for the Williams Family, Elias Family, Clarke Family, Hooten Family, Miller Family, Hicks Family, Smith Family and Hayes Family. Since 2016, HMC Hospitality Group has presented Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside a total of $740,100 and donated over 2497.5 hours of their time to build local homes.
