Children’s Dream Fund

About the Children’s Dream Fund:
Since 1981, the Children’s Dream Fund, a local wish-granting organization, has been honored to make dreams come true for children, ages 3-21, who have life-threatening illnesses and live in West Central Florida. Our Dream Coordinators work closely with hospital medical professionals, including social workers and child life specialists at 7 hospitals/medical facilities. We are proud to share that no child ever gets turned away from the Children’s Dream Fund and we include children of all races, ethnicities, and socio-economic backgrounds.

We currently have over 130 children anticipating their dream-come-true and the number of children is continuing to grow due to our strong relationship with our medical facilities. These critically-ill children battling life-threatening illnesses such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, and heart, lung and blood diseases are dealing with treatments, hospitals, surgeries, setbacks and self-isolations. The hospital staff depends on the Children’s Dream Fund to help their patients and families, and providing a dream-come-true infuses hope, inspires joy, and creates celebratory memories for the child and their family.

How can you help?
Our dreams are as diverse as our children and every qualified child receives a dream at no cost to the family. We provide travel, experience, and item and celebrity dreams. We offer many ways to make an impactful difference for a sick child.
Dream Believer: A monthly recurring gift program
Dream Sponsor: Solely sponsor a child for $4,500 or more
Dream Society: Become a member with a gift of $1,000 or more for 5 years.
Share the Dream: Join others with a gift of $1,000 to $4,499 to share the joy of helping to make a dream come true.
One time gift: Provide a one-time donation.
