Keep Pinellas Beautiful is offering summer workshops for high school students (graduating in 2026-2029) who are passionate about the environment. Students will learn leadership skills, gain an understanding of environmental issues, engage with experts in the field and participate in hands-on activities such as cleanups, hikes and invasive removals.

Two workshops are available:

Workshop 1: June 23-27 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Booker Creek Nature Preserve, 3940 Keystone Rd., Tarpon Springs. Click here to sign up for Workshop 1.

Workshop 2: July 21-25 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Weedon Island Nature Preserve, 1800 Weedon Drive N.E., St. Petersburg. Click here to sign up for Workshop 2.

Students can potentially receive up to 33 community service or Bright Futures Scholarship hours. A $25 application fee covers workshop activities, including tours and travel, and a light breakfast and snacks.
