The James Museum School Tour Docent

The James Museum is seeking volunteers to lead school tours for second-graders. No prior experience in art history or teaching is required – just a passion for art.
School tour docents must live in the Tampa Bay area and undergo a Level 2 Background Screening. An eight-week training session will be held Tuesday evenings or Wednesday mornings in September and October. Once training is complete, docents will give one tour a week between November 2025 and May 2026.
The James Museum is located at 150 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg. Applications are accepted through Aug. 31.
