Volunteer Opportunities:
- Junior Leaders Program (Must be 14 to 18 years old and in high school)
- Program Animal Care (Must be 14 years old and younger)
- Birds of Prey Program Steward (Must be 16 years old and up)
- Environmental Education/Envrionmental Outreach
- Gardening
- Land Management/Invasive Plant Removal
- Pinellas Pioneer Settlement
- Special Events and Festivals
- Tram Tour Docent (Must be 18 years old and up with a valid driver’s license)
- Wildlife Research
- We also accept court adjudicated community service workers.
How to become a volunteer:

- Step 1: Fill out the volunteer application prior to attending a volunteer orientation
- Step 2: Attend an orientation. Sign up for an orientation by calling the preserve at (727) 893-7326.
- PLEASE NOTE: Volunteers are expected to commit to volunteer at least once every 90 days.
