Volunteer at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Junior Leaders Program (Must be 14 to 18 years old and in high school)
  • Program Animal Care (Must be 14 years old and younger)
  • Birds of Prey Program Steward (Must be 16 years old and up)
  • Environmental Education/Envrionmental Outreach
  • Gardening
  • Land Management/Invasive Plant Removal
  • Pinellas Pioneer Settlement
  • Special Events and Festivals
  • Tram Tour Docent (Must be 18 years old and up with a valid driver’s license)
  • Wildlife Research
  • We also accept court adjudicated community service workers.

How to become a volunteer:

    • Step 1: Fill out the volunteer application prior to attending a volunteer orientation
    • Step 2: Attend an orientation. Sign up for an orientation by calling the preserve at (727) 893-7326.

 

  • PLEASE NOTE: Volunteers are expected to commit to volunteer at least once every 90 days.
