Arts Alive! podcast: Three Dali Museum muralists
Talking with Nicole Salgar, Laura ‘Miss Crit’ Spencer and Chad Mize about the Dali’s ‘Outside In’ mural exhibit.

Three St. Pete artists join us today on the Arts Alive! podcast, talking about the murals they created for the Dali Museum’s Outside In exhibit, which will run through the end of October.
Nicole Salgar, Laura Spencer and Chad Mize were among the 13 artists chosen to paint directly on the walls of the Dali’s main gallery – their mission, to create an entirely original large-scale work influenced by Dali, and by Surrealism in general.
Together, they discuss planning, process and execution, along with the deeper meanings, on a personal level, of their murals.
We also laugh pretty much from start to finish.
Salgar, Spencer and Mize will be at the Dali Museum Wednesday, Aug. 6 for a 10:30 a.m. “Coffee with a Curator” event, at which they’ll take this conversation even further. It’s free, but registration (here) is required.
