Brandi Gabbard

Councilmember Brandi Gabbard, was sworn into the St Petersburg City Council District 2 seat in January of 2018. Originally from Indiana, Brandi and her husband Keith moved to St Petersburg in 2003. Brandi has been a successful real estate broker at Smith and Associates Real Estate for 14 years and was named Pinellas County Realtor of the Year in 2015. Brandi is considered a subject matter expert and advocate for attainable flood insurance, and long term sustainability of our communities in the face of sea level rise. Most notably she testified in 2013 before the Governor of Florida and his cabinet in addition to speaking about these issues on Capitol Hill in 2018. Passionate about housing affordability, economic development, transportation and small business she has served in various roles throughout her community and industry but the role she is most proud of is mom to her 8 year old son.
