Barclay Harless

Barclay Harless, a fifth-generation Floridian, has been involved in the public, private and not- for-profit sectors in St. Petersburg for years. He is the St. Petersburg market executive for Valley Bank, focused on client acquisition, lending and deposit growth. Barclay is also serving as the 2023 chairman of the St. Petersburg Downtown Partnership and is the immediate past chair of CareerSource Pinellas. He is also on the boards of R'Club Childcare, Inc., the St. Pete Warehouse Arts District, and Equality Florida's advisory board for Equality Means Business. Barclay was appointed to the Pinellas Charter Review Commission in 2015 and sponsored a county amendment that stipulated citizen-drawn redistricting for the county commission. As a resident of St. Petersburg, he loves working both professionally and personally on initiatives that move the city forward.
