The Government Advocacy Panel, a division of the Central Pinellas Chamber of Commerce, will bring representatives from local government to its March business breakfast. The “State of Pinellas County Report and Business Breakfast,” Thursday, March 22, will be moderated by County Commission Chairman Kenneth T. Welch.

The 7:30-9:30 a.m. event takes place at Pinellas Technical College, 6100 154th Avenue N., Clearwater.

Presentations will be made by Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, Pinellas County Economic Development and Planning, Budget and Environmental Services Departments.

“The mission of GAP is to open channels of communication between our business community and government,” said Chris Johnson, chairman of the Government Advocacy Panel.  “We’re hoping this is the first of many such programs that unites business and Pinellas County leaders.”

Registration, $10, is available through www.centralchamber.biz, or by calling (727)584-2321.
