Defynance tackles the student loan crisis by refinancing existing student loans through income share agreements (ISA). Our ISA model provides downside protection for refinancing customers and a ROI upside for investors. Using a proprietary algorithm, we predict the right income share and leverage machine learning to continually optimize pricing and underwriting decisions. We have also designed a user experience driven digital marketplace that uses AI to enhance connections between refinancing candidates and investors, both institutional and retail. Defynance is a RedPerit initiative that is slated for private beta launch on March 15, 2019. RedPerit builds socially responsible fintech to disrupt the financial services industry and provide social impact. With Defynance, our aim is to “Empower Financial Freedom” by eliminating the student debt burden of our customers.

Farrukh is a social responsibility innovator and serial entrepreneur. He is a proven executive with over 25 years of diverse professional background in finance, insurance, technology, product development, and entrepreneurship. He has envisioned and launched a hybrid for profit and nonprofit ecosystem to help “Fill the Financial Gaps of Life, Together.” Farrukh graduated from the University of Florida with a BA in Sociology and resides in the Tampa, FL area with his wife and family.
