In combination with cutting-edge hardware, our proprietary software and exclusive virtual reality content (exercise games) we are creating a new market in physical & occupational therapy. The overwhelming response from physical and occupational therapists reaffirmed that patient non-compliance and the lack of technology leads to poor outcomes. As a result, we have created a technology aimed to improve the quality of care and keep patients engaged throughout the course of their prescribed therapy. Using virtual reality technology, Verapy enhances patient experiences through fun exercise games – re-imagining the way therapists engage with their physical and occupational patients. Verapy’s gamified therapy is built in mind to keep patient engagement throughout their prescribed plan of care. Our therapy platform turns standard exercises into immersive virtual reality games, designed to increase patient retention. With our team of therapists, each Verapy game is built to correspond with the therapy exercise protocols. Furthermore, through Verapy’s proprietary software, key metrics such as range of motion and pain levels are automatically captured for each session in the portal, enabling clinical efficiency. Less time spent on documentation means more patients can receive the quality of care.

Co-founder & CEO
Born from Vietnamese immigrants, Jonathan moved to Tampa, Florida to pursue his entrepreneurial visions. He brings 3 years of fashion and graphic design experience with a focus in UI/UX. Verapy’s vision was born out of his numerous experiences of physical and occupation therapy. When Jonathan was 7 years old, he had meningitis, and then a stroke at the age of 9. Altogether, he had 5 different surgeries due to sports related injuries and other diagnoses. Every injury and sickness required extensive therapy, and although, he did complete his therapies, Jonathan wished that there was a way to keep him motivated through those difficult and challenging rehabilitation experiences.
Co-founder and COO
Tad brings 17 years of experience in multiple corporate roles including Sales Operations, Marketing, Product Development, and Finance. He founded a family-owned transportation company, owned a document management & shredding business in New York, and co-founded a managed technology services company. With these great experiences, Tad developed an entrepreneurial passion for technology-based startups.
Director of Architecture
Bryan is a computer scientist from Michigan. He received Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Systems Science and Bioinformatics from Michigan Technological University. Since then, Bryan has performed full stack web programming, data analytics, IT, and DevOps professionally for 10 years. He has particular experience managing data collection systems starting from his first job with MIT Lincoln Laboratory and recurring throughout his career across various positions and contracts.
