Ed Sheeran adds last-minute ‘intimate’ Clearwater show

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran will perform an intimate acoustic concert Friday, May 19 at Ruth Eckerd Hall, one day before he plays for upwards of 50,000 people in Raymond James Stadium, it was announced Friday morning.
Registration via Ticketmaster’s “Verified Fan” system began at 10 a.m. today. Registration is here.
Sheeran’s new album Subtract (aka -) will be released May 5.

I had a Verified Fan presale code… was logged into the site an hour before the sale started and never even got the option to purchase tickets. Before the “official sale” even started, there were already people trying to sell $113 tickets for $3,000. It’s ridiculous that the fans who really want to see the show can’t because somehow non-fans were given the chance to purchase first.
