The African American Heritage Association has partnered with local independent bookstore Tombolo Books to bring the city’s African American history to the forefront. This monthly series acknowledges St. Petersburg’s Black past, present, and future. From Melrose Clubhouse to Desegregation of Pinellas County Schools, the series covers a multitude of topics related to local Black history and culture. These conversations happen every third Wednesday of the month via Zoom. To register for the events visit the Tombolo Books events page via the link provided.
