Join us at the farm for FREE community gardening classes with guest instructor Rob Greenfield!
Rob Greenfield is an environmental activist and humanitarian who has made it his life's mission to be the change he wants to see in the world. He recently embarked on a yearlong project in Orlando where he grew and foraged 100% of his food for a year. And he did it by turning his neighbor's yards into gardens and sharing the bounty. Rob still considers himself a beginner garden but knows enough to help you get started and has the keys to vastly increase your chances of successfully growing in Central Florida. After learning so much along the way he's ready to pass that knowledge to the community here in St. Pete.
There are four classes available, Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Each session offered is basically the same. This is not a series with each class covering different content. However, with the changing season and different questions slightly different content will be discussed in each class, so it is certainly worth attending multiple classes.
