Join us in honoring and celebrating the historic officers of the St. Petersburg Police Department known as the Courageous 12. These Black police officers filed a lawsuit in 1965 to get equal treatment in the St. Petersburg Police Department, paving the way for policies and practices today.

We’ll reflect on how their actions have impacted our community and address how we have progressed over the last 30 years regarding racial equity in policing.
