The St. Pete Works collaborative, led by the St. Petersburg College, in partnership with the City of St. Petersburg, Pinellas County Urban League, and Career Source Pinellas will be hosting the First Responders Career and Resource Fair on October 30th at the St Pete College Allstate Center (3200 34th St S, St. Petersburg, FL 33711) from 11:00am - 2:00pm.
Career seekers will have the opportunity to discover the true meaning of service as they join the ranks of the fearless men and women who dedicate their lives to protect and serve our community. Whether they’re a seasoned professional seeking a new challenge or a passionate individual ready to start an extraordinary career, this career and resource fair is the gateway to their future.
First Responders Day is celebrated on October 28th each year in the United States. It is a day to honor and recognize the brave men and women who put their lives on the line every day to protect and serve our communities. First responders include firefighters, police officers, paramedics, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), dispatchers, and other professionals who are among the first to arrive at the scene of an emergency.
