ST. PETERSBURG, Florida (October 3, 2022) – St. Petersburg Opera Company kicks off its 17th Season with Giacomo Puccini’s Tosca on October 14th, 16th, and 18th at the Palladium Theater, 253 5th Ave N, Saint Petersburg, FL 33701.
Love, lust, betrayal, and murder – the charismatic diva Tosca is at the center of it all! Puccini’s tragic masterpiece is a powder keg of politics and religion, making it one of the world’s most popular operas. As storms of repression and rebellion rage through Italy, Tosca is forced to play a real-life role she never imagined, fighting to save her lover, Cavaradossi, from the corrupt Baron Scarpia, who vows to kill his romantic rival if he cannot have Tosca for himself.

Rush Tickets:
St. Pete Opera offers $10 Rush Tickets for students and educators to all mainstage operas at the Palladium Theater. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis 30 minutes before each performance at The Palladium’s Box Office. A valid school-issued ID is required. Limit one ticket per person. Subject to availability. Cash transactions only.
