The world premiere of the gripping and spirited Roshin’s Wake, a new historical Irish solo show, written, directed and performed by award-winning actor, Dorothy Hershman, will have three performances January 19-21.
The one hour play is a simple “journeying tale.” But, the journey this story is primarily concerned with is not the journey of Irish Immigrant Oognah Donohue, grandmother, crossing the western frontier in 1864, Rather it is the tale of one woman’s very human journey from tragedy, through grieving, to a celebration of life.
