Cultured Books Literacy Foundation is proud to announce its 2nd annual St. Pete Reads LitFest, presented in collaboration with the St. Petersburg Library System. The event will take place on Saturday, November 4th from 10am to 4pm at the Legacy Gardens at The Woodson African American Museum of Florida. The event will be held in person as an outdoor festival in the Legacy Gardens at The Woodson African American Museum of Florida, featuring storytime, workshops, and book signings with established and emerging #kidlit writers.
We are excited to introduce the 2023 Featured Authors; Cultural Icon Natalie Daise ("Okra Stew"), Educator Ana Siqueira ("Bella's Recipe for Success''), Financial Literacy expert Jasmine Paul ("Granny’s Vintage Camera"), Educator and Poet Roberto Germán ("Blue Ink Tears"), Illustrator Anastasia Magloire Williams ("Beyonce: A Little Golden Book Biography"), and Poet Miesha Brundridge ("Embers & Scars: Poetry Collection").
St. Pete Reads! Lit Fest is free, public, and open to all ages. St. Pete Reads! Lit Fest 2023 is presented in collaboration with Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American History Museum, St. Petersburg Library System and Florida Humanities.
