Friends of Jack Kerouac are hosting our next guided bike tour scheduled for this Sunday, February 26th at 10am. Please arrive early at 9:30am to sign-in and for a brief orientation.

Join the fun and learn about Jack Kerouac (author of On the Road) and his time in the Sunshine State by interacting with landmarks from his days living in St. Petersburg from 1964-66 & 1968-69.

The Tour de Kerouac app we launched in 2022, made possible with grant funding by Florida Humanities, has three distinct routes: walk, bike and drive. Access the tour app via Kerouac.Oncell.com

The bike route we will explore on Sunday takes approximately 2 hours and travels 6.8 miles. Poets and literary fans will enhance the experience by joining us on the tour and performing a reading at one or more of the tour stops.

Please bring your own bike, water, sunscreen and other essentials. The tour starts and ends at the St. Pete Bike Co-op.
