Paula Roy started her painting career with a bang when she entered a painting challenge and was granted the Gulfport Merchants Chamber Rise and Shine Award for emerging artists.

Many of her works are done through Plein Air painting, which is outdoors, on site with natural light and elements with the goal of letting nature or human-made objects speak for themselves through her own interpretation of how they flow through space, time and light. She enjoys painting locally throughout Gulfport and around my New England home.

This exhibition features Paula's works centered around our beautiful waterways and the people who enjoy them and runs through February 24th at Gulfport's DRV Gallery.
